Hybrid meetings never work properly. The AGM is about meeting up for beers — it’s not worth the effort to try and stream it.

Unless Derek is planning to share a chair and his beer, that’s 5.

Can you let me know if you are attending, for numbers purposes.

Also, there is a poll on amending the Constitution to define a small cider producer. Vote here.

Seems to be the floor price in The Porterhouse pubs at the moment. Both give their prices on Untappd.

Seems it’s a plug-in for WordPress forums, and it has now been added. Thanks for the push!

I’m sure they still exist somewhere. Always ask for the price list before ordering at the bar, if you can’t already see it 🙂

Generally about 30-40 minutes, IIRC. And no, there isn’t.

I’m sure if it was selling as they wanted, they would have kept it. Tesco doesn’t do these things for any reason other than maximising profit.

It’s stretching the word “collaboration” a bit. As I understand it, they’re contract brewed, by Kinnegar and White Hag, for the most part.

That’s been bugging me too. I’ll have a poke in the settings and see. Seems like it should be an obvious bit of functionality.

They mothballed the place during Covid. As far as I’m aware they didn’t have any actual employees so it wasn’t difficult to do.

It’s been a few years since I was last in, but Fitzgerald’s of Sandycove has had a good selection in the past.

That’s part of it. But mainly, as an organisation of beer consumers, we should be there to consume beers, not serve them. I’m certainly unwilling to give up my time at a beer festival to do work, and I wouldn’t ask anyone else to either.

I waa asked if we could provide break cover for some of the breweries and I said no because I don’t think we can (or should) do that. But if you’re interested, check with the breweries.
