That’s part of it. But mainly, as an organisation of beer consumers, we should be there to consume beers, not serve them. I’m certainly unwilling to give up my time at a beer festival to do work, and I wouldn’t ask anyone else to either.
I waa asked if we could provide break cover for some of the breweries and I said no because I don’t think we can (or should) do that. But if you’re interested, check with the breweries.
I don’t think it’s either. The recent press information about Brennan’s, that I’ve seen, makes no mention of a production brewery. And I very much doubt YellowBelly will try and start a new one.
