Participant£340k loss made according to one CAMRA chap I spoke to at the festival last night.

ParticipantMakes sense.
Beoir wise, do we have any appetite for a small increase in contribution?irish_goat
ParticipantNot great at all. Guess we can wait and see what the spring budget brings. Presuming there was no suggestion CAMRA would return as full member in a few years once they sort their own finances?
irish_goat
ParticipantNot great news. Is the budget published?

ParticipantBeer list is now live. Nice amount of Irish in there.

ParticipantMy beer of the festival was Hope’s DIPA, but even if that gets 2 votes it’s hardly much of an endorsement.

ParticipantI forgot to vote, but having a 4th vote will hardly make this a viable award.
Question to maybe ask, how many voters minimum would we need?

Participant2 trips to Sligo in 1 month might be pushing it for me but I’ll see later.

ParticipantAh, I was hoping we wouldn’t be getting IPAs brewed in March…

ParticipantNoticed Hopfully are on the Hagstravaganza list this year. So the beer is still being made somewhere at least.

ParticipantCornmill Brewery is in planning now in Limavady.
Treble Brewing have their kit delivered so hopefully should see some beer from them soon.

ParticipantI think it is Portview Trade Centre. It’s certainly a old linen mill anyway.

ParticipantFair point. Could pick a more Irish centric festival, if one is being planned.

ParticipantI like the idea of doing some sort of award, but I don’t think we can call it ‘Beer of the Year’ if the beers are all judged on the same day.
What about creating a Hagstravaganza award?
