I know that Lockies and McKenna’s in Dún Laoghaire have Wicklow Wolf Elevation Pale Ale. Dunphys my regular has a rotating selection of German beer, pale ales, occasional independent guest stout and Sullivans red rather than Smithwicks red, though has been out of it for the past three weeks so McArdles it is, though Sullivans red is superior to that which makes me hope they get resupplied.

What other pubs stock independent Irish beer in Dún Loaghaire-Rathdown county that you know of?

It’s been a few years since I was last in, but Fitzgerald’s of Sandycove has had a good selection in the past.

Don’t they have a Dempsey’s of Inchicore mirror or poster as they sold Dempsey’s ale anywhere between 1982-1986?

Walters in Dun Laoghaire have Wicklow Wolf Elevation and my new favourite Galway Bay Afterglow. It’s best sampled between 4 and 6:30 on Sunday with live jazz…
