I was in Wexford for the entire Fleadh Cheoil this year, touring the pubs looking for sessions. The music and company were great!

I found Mountain IPA by Brehon and Big Bunny by Kinnegar in Simon’s Place (new branding at Dr Simon Lambert’s – suits me ;-)) but they ran out after a couple of days.
Yellowbelly wasn’t much in evidence either, though I had a pint in Jasper’s.
Otherwise it was wall-to-wall Diageo and Heineken.
I was very grateful for the case of Wicklow Wolf Wildfire Red I brought with me in the beer locker of our boat.
    Was I missing something?

Anyway, I hope Belfast does better next year.

Haven’t been down that way in years, but The Sky & The Ground, just down the street from Lambert’s, is the other good beer venue in town.

Ah, yes, now you mention it they did have one independent tap. I didn’t particularly like the beer, but in any case it had run out when I next looked!
It was a pretty unusual time. Every street was like a beer garden and there were outside bars on every corner.
