In his pioneering new book Tasting Notes, award-winning beer writer and Sunday Times beer columnist Pete Brown explores how what we can hear affects what we (think we) taste. In this online presentation, Pete tells us how food scientists, biologists, psychologists, neuroscientists and philosophers are only just starting to to figure out how the brain processes the different senses, and how they overlap and merge more than we might think. If that all sounds a bit heavy, Pete lightens it with it his trademark clarity and humour, and with references ot great beers and great songs. Prepare to have your mind expanded.
