A great night indeed, and well beyond my expectations! I would have been happy if half the expected people turned up, but I think we actually probably had twice as many, as a good few more turned up after that picture was taken, so thanks to everyone for making the effort to attend.

I want to thank Dave from the Bierhaus for offering to host us, but it's just too busy in there on a Friday night, which is obviously a good complaint for Dave! I'd also like to thank Shane and the lads in the F Well for accomodating us at such short notice, and I think the general concensus was that we would hold future events at the Well, due to the size of the available space.

Obviously, it would be good to have this as a regular event, so we should think about whether it should be monthly or every two months. I know there was a massive crowd for the first one, as people made a special effort to get in, but I'm not sure we would have those numbers every time, but you never know! A lot of us live outside the city, and have family commitments, so won't be able to make it everytime, but that won't matter if we have a big enough pool of people to draw from.

Thanks for the thanks, but very little organisation was required, and it's something that I would hope would pretty much run itself, similar to the Dublin meet in the Bull and Castle, so it doesn't really depend on anyone specific to organise or to be attendance.

Anyway, let me know what ye all think in relation to future events.
