I had a Christmas Porter from Brewdog tonight. Hint of chilli and some other spices. Bit Meh.

Sunday night for me,drinking "sublimely self-righteous ale" from stone. Certainly not a session beer very dark and sweet with a strong hop profile,8.7%

Svyturys Extra. I always wanted to know what "Lithuania's most popular beer" was and now I know. Nice malty lager, I would describe it as similar to Staropramen.

Also trying a Kozel, A very tasty Czech Lager. Not so sure how popular it is as there is mention of this on the label...

Finishing off with a Tyskie... unfortunately pretty tasteless compared to the other two.

Not a Friday night but sure its nearly Christmas.

On the way home i stopped into FineWines on the Malahide road and they had some Brooklyn Brewery's Black Chocolate Stout and a few other if there lines in.
Loving the Black Chocolate Stout. Got a six pack but can see me stocking up on this.

Two bottles of 5am Saint to celebrate the halfway point of the exams. Should have bought three.

A little "beers influenced by Scotch" party...

BrewDog Paradox Isle of Arran for the barrel, de Molen Bloed, Zweet & Tranen for the peat.

The former is not so woody and silky smooth after sitting for a year or 3; the latter is nicely smoky but froths ridiculously like every de Molen beer.
