Just to throw it out there, would anyone be up for having the monthly homebrew meetup hosted jointly with Capital Brewers?

Sounds good. If people are feeling stressed by having extra meetings to attend it makes sense to join it up.

I would keep them separate. More likely to talk about beoir things at beoir meetups even though i know its more of an informal thing where as at a nhc meeting its all about the homebrew.

I'm up for the merge, I haven't made a Beoir meet in a while (before Xmas) but it'd be good to see everyone at the one table.
Both meets (from my perspective) have had the same format, homebrew for the first half of the night, then banter about forum happenings for the rest.
If it did happen and folks didn't like it, nothing's set in stone

Trial it for a couple of months and see how it pans out- It can't hurt.

Meets don't work well if they beyond 8 or 10 people. I know people who don't go to Capital meets because they can be too big. Indeed I remember an ICB meet in the B&C with around 40 and it was a disaster. Too noisy and too much homebrew.
