Maybe we should have a "Beoir Pub of the Year" award.[/quote:3njn9ti7]

[quote:2q3wg0my]I paid €5.10 for one pint of FW Purgatory, then €5.20 for the next one 40 minutes later in The Crane Lane.[/quote:2q3wg0my]

That's poor. Was it in the 'Crystal Bar' in the back? They had 8 Degrees, White Gypsy and Metalman taps there, around 5 or 6. All are supposed to be €4.80, but that was before the budget.

That's news to me, but not entirely surprising. If they had staff that knew/cared more about their craft beer it would be worth it.

Is this legal?

I thought that to be compliant you had to display a price list, clearly visible and readable by the punter?

Would this have a second column saying "after x Pm the drinks are now +n%"

I think the relevant authority woukd be very interested in this ( Weights and Measures (Prob. called Tradings standards in .ie) or Revenue )
