Just back from Wroclaw, great city break with some really good bars and beer.
Spiz, <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="

www.spiz.pl/wroclaw/. Is a Germanic type bierkeller in the Rynek or Merket Square. Busy place for all ages with good hearty food and very good beer from their own brewery kit. I particularly enjoyed their IPA and Dark approx €2.50 for 500ml.
Targowa, <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="
www.facebook.com/targowawroclaw/">
www.facebook.com/targowawroclaw/ is a modern version of a bierkeller. They had 16 taps going when I visited from a variety of brewers some Polish some International. Very good hearty meals and beer, plenty of Imp Stouts and IPA, a 5 x 150ml flight is approx €7.
Swieta Racja <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="
www.facebook.com/swietaracja/">
www.facebook.com/swietaracja/ is a nice upmarket cafe with good food and a good range of Polish beers in bottle and on tap. Again strong stouts and IPAs were popular and my choice.
These are the three best that I went to, others will have their own preferences. The city has a seemingly endless choice of bars, cafes, restaurants etc some of which are high end and would give anything in the "west" a run for its money. Staff in general were friendly and proud of their local offerings. A great city for a couples break or for a dedicated beer trip.
