Hi all,
How can I get my tickets for the Irish Craft Beer Festival? Do we have any discount this edition?

Cheers

Yes, 50% at the door with your membership card. If you have any issues, refer them to Carley.

Be careful. I rocked up at the door with no tickets last year and they weren't letting anyone in without pre-booked tickets and that was early enough on the Saturday. I bought mine online this year but I'm guessing there's no refund in the form of vouchers or anything for beoir members?!

The issue last year revolved around glasses and the fact that they only had so many left but lots of prepaid tickets not come through the door. Quite rightly they closed the door to walk-ins and not to those who had prepaid tickets.
My advice is that if you absolutely want to go to avail of the discount on Friday and especially Sat go early.
If you want to guarantee your acess, pre-book your ticket and forgo the discount.

What John said- hopefully they will have learnt from last year's mistake (it was a big loss of revenue for the organisers too) but don't arrive late Saturday afternoon and expect to get in- even if they do have enough glasses the hall was close to capacity last year and the security staff were going to stop entry anyway.

I have requested that if a similar situation arises, that anyone with a Beoir membership card is allowed in as if they had booked online and pay at the door. If I hear a positive on that, I'll let you all know.

I was talking to Nicky Lambert on Saturday about the bar that he is opening in Waterford. Among other things we discussed the possibility of a Galway Bay type voucher scheme, which he is in favour of.
I know it would only benefit a few members at the moment but he has big ambitions.
Since when has popularity been a measure of quality?

You should be able to see the members' section now. I'm sure DrJohn will get your card and vouchers out to you shortly. Sorry for the delay.

It appears that a small batch of memberships that were paid on 01/07/2018 were not processed. I'm not sure exactly why yet - I am going through the PayPal payments and matching them up with those I processed. Apologies to anyone who has been affected.
Thanks for bringing it to our attention!
