Dundalk Bay Brewery visit

Post by TheBeerNut » Fri Feb 08, 2019 11:30 am

Dundalk Bay has invited us to visit. I've suggested the afternoon of Saturday 2nd March. Anybody interested?

Yes. So no interest in going along and telling them that in person? :D

I'm more thinking they are not too far from the Carlingford Brewery tap room. Had a great time there recently...

2 in a day would be interesting....

Have been meaning to see Carlingford as I've heard some great things about it.

Carlingford is closed for the winter, until 23rd March. Should we put this one off while we work on logistics?

That's only about 6 weeks away, which is usually our turn around time for getting these things up and running...

I suggest March 30th to give them an extra week, but there's no point making arrangements with two breweries and a minibus hire company if nobody's interested in going.

Any takers for a two-brewery trip on March 30th?

Optimistic to think a team coach is going to get through the border that day...

Joking aside, I'd really like to come. You held the last brewery tour on a day that clashes with a Leinster game. There hasn't been a Leinster home game on a Saturday since and the next one is 30th March. I'm getting paranoid that you don't want me to come.

As I said when I embarrassed you at the last few tours, it'll never happen again.

I think March 30th is out of the picture now. Anyone for a Saturday in June?

Not the 1st or 3rd Saturday (in Kilkenny and Stuttgart respectively).
