Nope. Word is just plain evil and should never be used to do anything which is not intended to finish up as a Word document: once things go into it it's nigh-on impossible to get them out again.

Plain text and separate image files is the best way to submit articles to ICB.

OpenOffice (free) can export as PDF, which are a bit more internet-friendly than Word. It can import Word docs too, so...

My point is it's an easy Word->PDF translation, rather than posting reformatted text on ICB and images separately on PB.

Browsers will open PDFs inline too.

The forum is phpBB isn't it? I know joomla is used elsewhere but us mere mortals can't post anywhere else (can we?)

We're already doing one major restructuring of the site; we don't want another just yet <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D --> Anyway, we're sticking with Joomla. Articles will continue to be in HTML with images on photobucket. It uses less server space for one thing, making back-ups much quicker.
