Brewdog in Dublin

A friend was in London last weekend, and went into the Brewdog pub near Tower Bridge. According to their in-house newsletter they plan to open a Brewdog pub in Dublin this year. Any news on this?

It was a franchise, but it's been back in Porterhouse hands since the re-naming.

Hopefully the website will be online by this weekend - progress has been very slow.
And the plan is to have liquid yeast, unfortunately I haven't managed to get any delivered yet. But soon, I hope :D

The Hope brewery is actually beside Howth Junction station; i.e. Donaghmede. Not sure about any connection between Hope and Harbour.

Dempsey's was a standalone brewery operating from Inchicore in the early 1980s. I came over to Ireland in 1983 to help set up Harty's brewery in Blessington, Co. Wicklow with Oliver Hughes and Liam LaHart (nowadays of Porterhouse fame). Shortly afterwards the Dempsey's brewer left, so I was working ...

Last time I was in there (about three months ago) there wasn't any craft beer. Good pub though. And loads of Babycham.

Presuming it has to be relatively near the airport, I'd suggest Kavanagh's (The Gravediggers) in Glasnevin.
