If you check here[/url:2adzi7mg], it shows a pic of the beer king and 'party star deluxe' (which is very similar to the Lidl one). You can see the difference between the dispensing nozzles - the curved tube works better IMO. Looks nicer too. And the recent Lidl offer had the entire unit cheaper than the beer king tap!

how long would a keg of beer last in this dispensor?
where did you get and how much for the co2 cartriges?
would this work for a homemade creamflow ale like john smiths?
is there a nitrogen/co2 mix cartrige available?

[/quote:lb1a2a4x]They say minikegs are good for 2 weeks – mine never quite make it that long, so not sure if that’s true

I find they are great for low carbonated ales – milds, porters, stouts, and I’ve also had good success with blonde ales, a bitter and an IPA.

The power supply on my Lidl (Morphy Richards) beer cooler has packed up. Its quite a powerful one 5.5Amps at 12 v and so expensive to replace from the likes of Maplin

Does any one have a spare one?

I was just about to hook the machine up to my gas bottle to save on the little bulbs

Cheers

Will
