Working in an offie in Bishopstown and our sales of Murphy's have gone right up, thanks to Dunnes not selling it.

On another note, I hope Dunnes keeps up the good work with their craft beer, it's great to be able to buy single bottles of 8 Degrees in a supermarket, without having to drop €12 on a six pack.

Hope Dunnes hold their ground, I also hope anybody that goes in looking for Heine or Murphys came out with something resembling craft <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

It is unlikely that this will switch people to Craft.
I'm sure the punters are going to have a budget and a preference/brand loyalty which is not going to sway too much.
See TDDs post 2 back.
I'm guessing a Euro extra per slab is acceptable, a Euro a bottle is not.

Although it might make more people move over to Tesco, notice homebrew kits, meaning a win for homebrewing and longer term Craft beer.
Thats a win win.

In general most supermarkets now stock some form of craft beer. Some are obviously better then others but in general it's heart warming to be able to go to most supermarkets and pick up a bottle of something decent.
