How are you celebrating Arthur's Day? 8 years 3 weeks ago #1

Me, I'm in Leixlip's new Arthur Guinness Square.[/url:301ma6wx] Which is the car park behind Spar on Main St, revamped, and renamed. And what do you drink in the car park behind Spar, only snake bites made from Linden Village and Dutch Gold (used to be Hoffmans in my day), and who do you drink with only the local 14-year olds from dubious backgrounds.

Not a dig at Arthur Guinness, but rather a dig at Leixlip Town Council. We already have a folly, and a rather fine one[/url:301ma6wx] at that. We didn't need another one, especially when there are so many other worthwhile projects that €35k could have been spent on.

My mother tells a story of a one year old me, happy as Larry in the buggy bursting into hysterics as soon as we turned into that car park in Leixlip. She claims it was because I remembered my last visit to the clinic located there, where I received all my injections. I reckon it was that I had a premonition that it would one day be using public money to promote a private company, which doesn't need any promotion.

I celebrated Argon Thursday by having a homebrew at home. Was too wrecked to head to ATG after college today, and didn't feel jealous of all the jammers pubs I walked past on my way to the DART.

Not much celebrating going on here today.
Today we found out my Fiance's best friend that has been missing in Australia has finally been found.
Unfortunately as many of you probably know its not a good outcome.

Gutted is not the word but have to be strong for herself.
I had 2 pint of O'Hara Lean Folin before going for a token pink in the local before the news came through.

Feck Arther !!
