The directory needs your help in getting more entries.

Before we had a searchable directory, we had a list[/url:2vfnrw47]. To get a good start, why not select a pub from that list that's near you and gather some info about it[/url:2vfnrw47] to make a proper entry for it in the Directory.

The information needed is fairly simple:

When describing the place, try to be factual (please, no "best pub ever!!" descriptions), and remember that your entry will help guide people to the places that serve Irish craft beer.

What happened to the Tramco brewery? I assume it is still physically there but its not in the directory?

Depopulating the Beoir Directory:

Bentley's Oyster Bar has gone (Is now the Cliff Town House or somesuch). Can't say I'll miss the place- the two meals I had there ranked as the worst (and possibly the most expensive) I've had in Dublin. It seemed that you'd only get a good meal if Corrigan was in the kitchen. Unfortunately that was not very often.

Ale Adventurer available to take up the "populating the Beoir directory" request in the Dublin 10, 20 and 22 areas. Any takers? Getting thirsty thinking about it!

New recruit here... I'm based in Galway city and would be very glad to provide information on the main places of local interest (Salt House, Bierhaus, Oslo Bar)... if this would be of use?

Is it possible to "edit" entries on the Beoir Directory (apart from editing the entries already submitted by a user)? It could do with a bit of tweaking here and there (i.e. only Ór listed as a beer from Trouble Brewing). I might be willing to volunteer for this (as I know the site admins can't do everything!).
