"pour a beoir, per favor". Has anyone thought about tv advertising yet?

so is ICB staying as you were at Irishcraftbrewer.com ? or is beoir.com(or whatever it is) going to encompass both? or are both going to have seperate and dedicated sites?

I was just a bit confused after reading all the posts.

that would maybe suggest not to drink craft beer. so whatever beoir recommends would be a beoiring beer??[/quote:2kjh0okr]

You could be right, brain working faster than the eyes.

The intention is to migrate everything over to Beoir as a website. The brewing discussions will essentially be the Irish Craft Brewer community under the umbrella of Beoir.

It's a tough one really, and trying to keep that sense of community is important. We could of course set up two separate sites, but as I described above, ICB has grown into something more than it started out as, so it's a natural progression, and having two sites would dilute things.

So, it'll all be under Beoir as a site, and I would like to think that Irish Craft Brewer is a sub-group/community within that. So there should still be ICB meets as opposed to and as well as Beoir meets.

Does that answer your question clearly enough? I'm in danger of confusing myself at this stage (easily done!). Please do keep asking if anything is not clear.

It makes sense now. I suppose it's the difference between lobbying with the backup of fully paid up members of an organisation rather than lobbying with a website that has x amount of signed up members but with an unknown quantity of active members.
Like a proper union compared to an online petition.
