Have to agree with Hendrixcat, I liked the imperial porter the best. There were so many I've forgotten them all. Can every one post a list of the ones they brought.

I remember Séan's sour beer and the four in the corny kegs, Freedgull's rye-beer, but the rest is a bit of a blur.

Many thanks to our genial host Séan, and all the contributors for making Friday a most enjoyable evening. I felt a little overwhelmed (does not happen too often!), being the sole representative of the non-brewing-but-appreciating part of the community. I won't pick a best brew, and I was glad that some brewers brought brews that were "work in progress" for discussion and opinion, and not necessarily the finished article. This is how we learn!
Perhaps we should organise a "Best Irish Craft Brewer beer of the year" competition. I would be happy to put myself forward for nomination to any judging panel needed!

Hi All,
I must say, I enjoyed the night thoroughly. The standard of beer and brewing knowledge was excellent and it was great to finally meet and chat with some of the people I know from on line.

One of you left me a couple of beers BTW. Who was it? One of them is in a clear bottle, form Neam, I think and the other is in one of those funny shaped green bottles.

Sorry I haven't been on line since Friday. I exceeded my download limit, which is why I had no internet over the weekend.

Excellent night, some really nice beers and good food, I was very impressed with the DME beers, I think I might get a few kg to have around for a quick brew. I like the use of cascade in the pale ale’s and one could be in the pipeline for a summer brew. Sean’s sour beer was also impressive, refreshing, but not to tart.

Can they block you when you exceed your download limit? bas***** i'm usually tipping about my limit sometimes a gig over, they sent me an email asking me to cool it a bit but never any more than that.

Hey Sean,

The two bottles were mine - Never got around to them. They were a 'control' brew for my Rye Ale. Same ingredients with crystal instead of the Roasted Rye.

Sorry for the lateness of the response but I've been in Italy... Can't beat the teachers holiday's
