Is that a roasted barley flavour?? Curious because I thought the lack of roasted barley was what differentiates porter from stout( if anything does)
Top drawer!! Will buy again[/quote:k1h72zon]
Chocolate malt, the.only difference is the starting gravity. The use.of roasted barely is a some what modern addition
Thanks Oblivious, I have a Randy Mosher porter recipe that turned out excellent[img:145rn9qa]http://img.tapatalk.com/d/12/10/15/egyquqy2.jpg[/img:145rn9qa]
However, I think a small amount of roastiness would benefit this greatly. Thinking of adding some roast barley to it but not sure how much. Was thinkin maybe 50 or 100 grams. Any opinion?
