I had a problem with a Blacks can, it didn't last long enough and was empty before I finished my bellypork, Sam should have known and given me two to avoid this issue occuring <!-- s8) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif" alt="8)" title="Cool" /><!-- s8) -->

I had infected homebrew few months back with very similar aroma and taste to it.

Would be nice if someone tried it and posted what they think.

I just got one from O'Briens- same BBE and batch number- I'm getting no chlorophenols or solvents (which would cause the aroma/flavours you describe)- a good smack of resinous hops on the nose with a burnt caramel malt. Intense bitterness in the taste with more of the burnt caramel. Astringent but with a good carbonation bite and a lingering bittering.
